SAAMYA | FOSTERING RESPECT & EMPATHY
The first session of Saamya, an initiative fostering gender sensitivity and addressing adolescent issues, was conducted for Grade 5 boys in collaboration with the Dharampal Satyapal Foundation (DSF) on 22 August 2026.
The session focused on nurturing respect, empathy, compassion, affection, consent and sensitivity towards everyone, encouraging students to become positive role models. Through engaging activities, students explored emotions, understood diversity, built respectful relationships and reflected on their thoughts and behaviour.
Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. She encouraged students to practise empathy and kindness and shared that more such activities will be organised in the upcoming sessions.
